Muzaffer Akyol was born in Divranoz (Gölçayır) village in Trabzon, the fifth of twelve children. He went to middle school in Trabzon, and after transferring, he graduated from Ankara Çubuk. He graduated as an elementary school teacher from Trabzon High School. He began working as an elementary school teacher in the 1965. He taught at various educational institutions for 26 years and retired in 1992. He opened his first personal exhibition in 1969 at the Trabzon Village Clinic. In 1969, he was accepted to the D.G.S. Academy of Art. Having worked at numerous art workshops, he graduated in 1974. In 1981 and 1982, he had three exhibitions in the Netherlands. In 1993, he participated in a tripartite exhibition in Salzburg, Austria. He had a total of 54 exhibitions. In March 2008, he will have an exhibition at the Ördekli Hamam, which was restored by the Municipality of Osman Gazi in Bursa.
