Bahadır Gökay

Bahadır Gökay was born in Istanbul in 1955. He graduated from the Graphic Department at the Istanbul Academy of Applied Fine Arts in 1982. During his education, he worked as an art director in many advertising companies. In 1984, Gökay founded his company and became the creative director of many significant brands. He has had many solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous group exhibitions and international biennials in Turkey and abroad. Gökay has received many awards in various competitions. He is a member of the Turkish Representative of the International Association of Art, and one of the founders of the Ferrara Collective. In 2003, he established the Erenus Art Gallery in Istanbul and Ankara. Currently, Gökay continues to work and teaches drawing and painting at his gallery.
