Bayram Gümüş was born in the district of İlmen village of Beyşehir, Konya in 1960. He moved to Istanbul in 1967. He left high school in the first year and took several jobs until 1983. Besides his works, Gümüş continued painting. In 1983, he showed his paintings to the painter Kasım Koçak and began painting at the workshop of Koçak and İbrahim Çiftçioğlu nearly for one and a half year. In 1984, Gümüş founded his own workshop. He has participated in many group exhibitions. He had his first solo exhibition at the Turkuaz Art Gallery in Ankara in 1996. His works can be seen in public and private collections in Turkey.
