Candaş Şişman was born in Izmir in 1985. After finishing at Izmir Anatolian Fine Arts High School, he graduated from the Animation Department at Eskişehir Anatolian University in 2009. During his undergraduate studies, he took multimedia design courses at Noordelijke hogeschool, Leeuwarden, Netherlands (2006 - 2007).
In 2009, Şişman founded Silo 1 with colleagues. In 2011, he founded NOHlab studio with Deniz Kader. Since 2006, Şişman has received many awards such as a honorary mention from Ars Electronica in Computer Animation/ Film /VFX category and Rome Viedram Festival Video and Sound Design Best Prize. Şişman has participated in many important festivals including the Nemo Digital Arts and Film Festival and Offf İstanbul 2012. He recently completed Yekpare projection mapping with Nerdworking within the Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture activities and ‘FLUX’ audiovisual installation among the İlhan Koman Hulda festival in Istanbul. Şişman performed Stereoscopic Audiovisual at Babylon′s Audiovisual Monday activities.
