Emre Meydan was born in Ankara in 1982. He graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University in 2010. He then studied painting with Heike Kati Barath at Hochshule für Kuenste in Bremen, Germany between 2013 and 2015. Meydan has reveived severai awards and artist residencies in Germany. He has participated in many group exhibitions and held several solo exhibitions in Turkey, Germany and different countries. Meydan currently lives and works in Northeim, Germany.
