Assistant Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı was born in Istanbul in 1977. After graduating from Mimar Sinan Fine Art University in 2000, he completed his master′s degree at his alma mater in 2004. In 2002, Tandırlı moved to France to study Plastic Arts at the University of Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne, and completed his second master′s degree in 2005. He then completed his doctoral degree in 2008 at the same University in Paris. Tandırlı has had many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions and art fairs in Turkey and abroad. He has received several awards for his works. Currently, Dr. Tandırlı works as an instructor at Işık University and continues his work in Istanbul.
