Engin Korkmaz

Engin Korkmaz was born in Erzurum in 1972. After graduating from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Education at Uludağ University in 1992, he completed his master′s degree at his alma mater in 1997. Since 1996 he has taught painting at Uludağ University. Korkmaz has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. He has also held 8 solo exhibitions. He has received several awards including a mention award in the "Rauf Denktaş" exlibris competition at Near Eastern University (2011) and a science art award from Uludağ University (2013). He currently continues teaching as a painting tutor at Uludağ University and paints at his own workshop in Bursa.
