Gaye Ateş

Gaye Ateş was born in Erzincan in 1977. In 2004, she graduated from the Sculpture Department in the Atatürk Faculty of Education at Marmara University. She completed her master′s degree at the Painting Department of Marmara University in 2006. In 2004-2005, Ateş worked for the book project, which was organized by the Midyat Municipality. From 2005 to 2006, she worked as a painting instructor at Emir Sence primary school. Ateş worked as an assistant at Devrim Erbil Workshop in 2006-2011. Currently, she continues painting at her workshop, which she founded in 2011.
