Güzide Gündüz was born in Istanbul in 1961. She graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Yıldız Technical University in 1982. As a painter, Gündüz has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. She has also held her solo exhibitions. Gündüz currently continues her work in Istanbul.
