Hülya Toksöz Şahiner

Hülya Toksöz Şahiner graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University in 1990. She received her master′s degree in painting from the Claremont Graduate School in Los Angeles, California in 1994. She completed her doctoral degree, Proficiency in Arts at Mimar Sinan University in 2002. Şahiner has held many solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. She currently works as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of Istanbul Kemerburgaz University. She also lectures the courses "New Media Art and Its Origins" and "The Art of the Electronic Era" at the Faculty of Art and Design of Yildiz Technical University. Şahiner also continues painting at her workshop in Istanbul.
