Hüseyin Şahin

Hüseyin Şahin was born in Ermenek in 1973. He graduated from the Painting Department at Gazi University in 1996. Since then, he has created more than 2000 paintings. In 1996, he received an exhibiting award in a national painting competition during the Habitat 2 conference. In 2010, Şahin founded the Fon Art Group and had two exhibitions with them. He has participated in many international art biennials, art fairs and festivals including the International Florence Art Biennial (2011), Izmir Art Biennial, and Art Basel. Şahin has held 5 solo exhibitions and participated in 20 group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. His works can be seen in many international collections. He currently lives and paints in Tekirdağ.
