İrem İncedayı was born in Rome in 1970. She is the daughter of the painter Timur Kerim Incedayı. She studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti and got baccalaureate. Since 1992, she has had several solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions in Italy, Turkey and the USA. In 1994, İncedayı took part and won the award at the "Extemporaneous Painting Competition" in Veroli. In 2005, İncedayı prepared the cover of the book ”El Islam: Los musulmanes y el once de septiembre" di F.Alican, (editorial Kognos). In 2007, she received the “Simpatia Award” from Rome’s mayor W. Veltroni for her painting. İncedayı has also worked for several interior decorations, trompe l’oeil, frescos, mosaics in private houses, restaurants, public places and hotels such as St. Regis Grand (Rome), Hotel Francoise (Paris), Hotel Casa Selita (Orvieto), Fatebenefratelli Hospital, the waiting room on Tiberina Island (Rome), and the Four Seasons Hotel (Istanbul). Currently, İncedayı lives and works in Rome.
