Assistant Prof. İsmail Tetikçi was born in Erzurum in 1972. He graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Atatürk University in 2000. He completed his master’s degree at his alma mater. In 2002, he started working as a research assistant at his alma mater when he continued his doctoral degree. In 2010, Tetikçi completed his doctoral degree. Currently, he works as an Assistant Professor at his alma mater. Tetikçi has participated in many conferences, symposiums, and seminars. He has had two solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey. He has received awards in many painting competitions. In 2012, he will participate in the group exhibition “Bir”, which will be held in the Armaggan Art & Design Gallery in Istanbul.
