İsmet Doğan was born in Adıyaman in 1957. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University in 1982, and went to Paris with a French Government Scholarship to study Fine Arts from 1988 to 1989. Since then, he has had many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. He has received several awards. Currently, Doğan lives and works in Istanbul.
