Medine İrak

Medine İrak was born in Kars in 1983. She graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University in 2005. She then completed master’s degree at her alma mater in 2008. In 2004, she received first place in the İpek Ahmet Merey Painting Competition. In the following year, she was awarded third place in the Sabancı Foundation Graduation Awards. Currently, İrak lives and works in Istanbul. In 2011, she had her solo exhibition “Gizli Söz” at the Kare Art Gallery.
