Melike Kılıç was born in Şebinkarahisar, Giresun in 1982. She graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University. In 2009 she held her first solo exhibition "Yok Ülke" at Kargaart in Istanbul. In 2011-2012 Kılıç studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. Since 2012 she has continued making towards her Master′s degree in painting at her alma mater. Since 2008 Kılıç has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. She currently lives and works in Istanbul.
