Nafi Çil

Nafi Çil was born in Kula. He graduated from the Architecture Department at the Istanbul State Fine Arts Academy in 1967. He studied sculpture with Sadi Çalık for three years and obtained several degrees. In 1967, Çil joined the Akatunvel Art Group. He has held over sixty solo painting exhibitions. As a member of the Akatunvel Art Group, Çil has participated in various group exhibitions in Luxembourg, Paris, Zagreb, and Dubrovnik. His works can be seen in the Painting & Sculpture Museums in Istanbul, Ankara, and Aydın as well as various private collections in Turkey and abroad. Çil currently continues his work in Izmir.
