Nejat Satı was born in Izmir in 1982. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University in 2004. He utilises technical innovations to re-think the practice of painting. Satı has held many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. He currently lives and works in Istanbul.
