Nejdet Vergili was born in Bafra in 1954. He graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University in 1980. Since 1979, he has held many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Verdili currently lives and works in Istanbul.
