Nur Ataibiş was born in Istanbul in 1956. She graduated from the Business Department in the Faculty of Economic and Commercial Science at Marmara University in 1975. After studying art at Kasım Koçak’s workshop between 1991 and 1994, Ataibiş founded her workshop in 1994. She worked as a coordinator in the Art and Philosophy Workshops, which was founded by the Center of Human Resources Development at Yıldız Technical University and Graduates Association of Yıldız Technical University. She had her first solo exhibition in the Kare Art Gallery in 1999. Since then, Ataibiş has had many solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Her works can be seen in various collections in Turkey and foreign countries. Ataibiş is a member of the Association of International Plastic Artists. Currently, she continues to work at her workshop in Istanbul.
