Nusret Orçan

Nusret Orçan was born in Ankara in 1943. He is known as an impressionist painter. After graduating from the Physics Department at Ankara University, he worked at the State Opera and Ballet as a sound engineer. He, however, continued painting. Orçan held his first solo exhibition at the Gallery Art Yapım in 1983. Since then he has held numerous solo exhibitions in Turkey. He has also participated in many group exhibitions and art fairs. His paintings can be seen in many public and private collections in Turkey and abroad. Orçan currently continues his work in Ankara.
