Özcan Kandemir was born in Rize in 1977. He graduated from the Program of Painting-Work in the Department of Fine Arts in the Faculty of Fatih Education at Karadeniz Technical University in 2002. He started working as a painting teacher at Latife Özmimar primary school in Gaziantep. In 2007, he completed his master’s degree in the Institute of Social Sciences at Ondokuz Mayıs University. Currently, Kandemir continues his doctoral degree at Ondokuz Mayıs University. He also paints at his workshop and teaches in Samsun.
