Pemra Aksoy studied painting at Şeref Bigalı’s drawing workshops in Izmir from 1992 to 1994. Aksoy continued studying painting, attending Resul Aytemür′s workshops at Beyoğlu Akademililer Art Center in Istanbul from 1999 to 2003. In 1995 – 1996, she attended the Department of Three Dimensional Art in the Faculty of Science and Arts at Los Angeles Pierce College. Aksoy graduated from the Sociology Department in the College of Art and Science at Koç University in 2000. In 2012, she attended Milena Dragicevic′s workshop “Form Fatale” at Salzburg Fine Arts Academy. In 2013, Aksoy completed her Master′s degree in Fine Arts at the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Işık University. She has had several solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and Azerbaijan. Currently, Aksoy continues painting at her workshop in Istanbul.
