Prof. Ramiz Aydın

Prof. Ramiz Aydın was born in Espiye, Giresun in 1937. He graduated from the Painting and Graphic Department of Gazi Institute of Education in 1961. He served as the chair of the Painting Art Department at Istanbul Atatürk Education Institute and Marmara University, Education Faculty between 1982 and 2004. He became Associate Professor in 1987 and tenured professor in 1995. He has had over 40 solo exhibitions before retiring in 2004. He was rewarded various prizes on his paintings. His works can be seen in private and museum collections in Turkey and abroad. Currently he is continuing his work in Istanbul.
