Reha Yalnızcık

Reha Yalnızcık was born in Istanbul in 1950. He graduated from the Graphic Department at the State Academy of Fine Arts in 1975. He created many graphic designs for book covers, posters and illustration. Yalnızlık held his first solo exhibition "Doğa ile Haşır Neşir" at the Istanbul Taksim Art Gallery in 1980. Since then he has held over 66 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 100 group exhibitions. His works were selected for UNICEF products. Yalnızlık has received many awards including a contribution award to children’s paintings for the last 40 years (1992) and a plastic arts award (2013). He has also held 11 joint exhibitions with his daughter and painter Perincan Yalnızcık. He published two books for children in 1992. His writing has also published in many national and international publications. Yalnızlık currently lives and works in Istanbul.
