Remzi İren

Remzi İren was born in Tokat in 1943. He graduated from the Department of Textile Design at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts in 1970. He worked as an art decorator at an advertising company and the Dormen Theatre while studying at the academy. Since 1970, İren has had many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. He received awards at an Akbank design competition and a Vakko design competition. İren worked at Tekel General Directorate as a graphic designer for 15 years and as a culture and art advisor for 10 years. He currently paints at his workshop in Istanbul.
