Sabahat Çıkıntaş was born in Eskişehir in 1955. She began her art career in Yusuf Taktak Workshop in 1991. In 2007, Çıkıntaş participated in summer academy at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Marmara University. She has had many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. Her works can be seen in various collections both in Turkey and abroad including Israel, England, Denmark, Germany and the USA. Çıkıntaş is a member of International Plastic Art Society and the Association of the Museum of Painting and Sculpture. As of today, she continues to work in her workshop in Istanbul.
