Safiye Mine Erdurak was born in Çankırı in 1956. In 1977, she graduated from the Department of Painting and Work Art, Halil Akdeniz Workshop at Ankara Gazi Education. Mine Erdurak organized workshop for children in the State Museum of Painting and Sculpture in Izmir. Between 1977 and 1979, she served as a painting teacher and vice director in Soma Linyit High School. Between 1980 and 1981, she taught painting at Balıkesir Gazi Osman Paşa Middle School. She then worked at Balıkesir Karesi Middle School until 1998. After working as a teacher for 21 years, Mine Erdurak retired in 1998. In 2000, she served as a painting teacher in Balıkesir Mavi Boncuk Kindergarten. Between 2004 and 2005, Mine Erdurak taught painting at the State Museum of Painting and Sculpture in Izmir. Mine Erdurak has had 11 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey. Her works can be seen in various collections both in Turkey and abroad, such as the collection of the State Museum of Painting and Sculpture in Izmir and Şanlıurfa Museum. She is a member of International Plastic Art Society. As of today, Mine Erdurak continues to work in Istanbul.
