Saydan Akşit was born in Kocaeli, İzmit in 1979. He graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Kocaeli University in 2004. He has participated in many group exhibitions in Istanbul. He has also drawn illustrations for various journals such as Bant and Babylon. Akşit currently lives and works in Istanbul.
