Seçil Erel was born in 1980. She graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University in 1999. She continued her master’s degree at her alma mater and completed in 2004. Erel has had many solo exhibitions and participated in various group exhibitions, symposiums and workshops in Turkey. She currently continues her work in Istanbul.
