Sedef Yılmabaşar Ertuğan

Sedef Yılmabaşar Ertuğan was born in Istanbul in 1967. After graduating from the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management at Boğaziçi University in 1987, she went to Paris Esmod School in 1991 to be a stylist. When she returned to Istanbul, Sedef founded her own haute-couture workshop. With her collection, she received an award in a competition organized by Beymen Academia in 1995. Besides her career, she has continued painting since her childhood. Sedef held her first solo exhibition "Kedici" at the Art Gallery of Işık High School in 1998. Since then, she has painted professionally and has held numerous solo exhibitions. Sedef Yılmabaşar Ertğan currently lives and paints in Istanbul.
