Selahattin Yıldırım was born in Sivas in 1960. He graduated from the Painting Department in the Atatürk Faculty of Education at Marmara University in 1984. In the same year, Yıldırım started working as an artist at his own workshop in Istanbul. He researched painting in abroad. He has had solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey. As of today, Yıldırım continues his work in Istanbul.
