Prof. Serap Eyrenci was born in Istanbul in 1950. She graduated from the Neşet Günal workshop at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts in 1974. In 1976, she began working as an assistant at the Basic Arts, Training Workshop in the Academy. Eyrenci received a doctoral degree, proficiency in arts with her thesis “A Research on Miniature and Contemporary Painting Art” in 1983. She received a title of Associate Professor in 1989 and Professor in 1998. As of today, Eyrenci continues to teach at Mimar Sinan University and Doğuş University.
