Serkan Adın was born in Izmir in 1977. He finished primary and middle school in Izmir. He entered the Graphic Department in the Faculty of Fine Art at Bilkent University in 1995 but transferred to the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University, where he graduated from in 2001. Adın became a member of International Association of Plastic Artists (2001) and of KIWA in Japan(2003). He has had many solo exhibitions and participated over 50 group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad.
