Prof. Sevgi Soylu Koyuncu

Prof. Sevgi Soylu Koyuncu completed her doctoral degree, proficiency in arts, at Samsun Ondukuz Mayıs University in 1992. In 1992-1993, she attended an English course and worked at Nottingham Polytechnic University (currently Nottingham Trent University). In 1996, she received a scholarship from the Italian Government to study painting.

Prof. Koyuncu has held solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. She has received many awards for her works. Prof. Koyuncu has written many articles on arts in national and international journals; and attended various conferences and symposiums in Turkey and foreign countries.

She served as the Vice Manager for the Institute of Social Sciences for one year and half; and as a manager of the Institute of Fine Arts for three years at Ondokuz Mayıs University. Currently, Prof. Koyuncu serves as the Head of the Department of Education in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Ondokuz Mayıs University, the Head of the Graphic Department.
