Seydi Murat Koç was born in Konya in 1981. He graduated from the Painting Department in the Atatürk Faculty of Education at Marmara University in 2002. He completed his master′s degree at his alma mater in 2006. Koç has participated in numerous group exhibitions, and received more than 17 awards including the first prize among 250 participants in the “Young Artist of the Year” competition (2005). Currently, he serves as an assistant lecturer at Doğuş University in Istanbul.
