Sezin Aksoy was born in Istanbul in 1981. She graduated from Sisli Terakki High School in 1999. Between 1999 and 2003, she studied business in the Bryant College. She earned a double major in marketing and management. In 2003-2004, Aksoy moved to Florida and worked on business for a year. She then decided to change her career to fine arts and returned to Istanbul. In 2005, she studied arts with many different artists at their workshops including Denis Orkus’s DD Studio for painting and drawing. She also studied photography with Turgut Salgar. Aksoy attended printmaking and etching workshops in the IMOGA museum and worked with Suleyman Saim Tekcan. Between 2005 and 2007, Aksoy studied at the School of Museum of Fine Arts in Boston for two years. In 2006, she completed her post baccalaureate degree. She has participated in many group exhibitions and had several solo exhibitions.
