Şinasi Bozatlı was born in Ankara in 1962. He graduated from the Department of Painting and Sculpture at Gazi University in 1984. In 1987, he moved to Vienna. He completed his master’s degree in painting and graphic design at the University for Applied Arts in Vienna. Since 1998, Bozatlı has also worked at his studio in New York. In 2003, he had the workshop “Colors of Life” in the Museum of the Collection Essl, Klosterneuburg in Vienna. In 2007, his acrylic work “Eternity” was used as a cover of Greg Jasperse’s work “Crossings”, meditative pieces for piano by Jasperse. Bozatlı has had many solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey, the US, Austria, Egypt, North Africa, and Korea. His works can be seen in public and private collections and foundations in Austria, Turkey, South Africa, Germany, South Korea, France, Holland, Japan, and in the US. Bozatlı is a member of the IG Bildende Kunst, IAA (International Association of Arts), AIAP (Association Internationale des Arts Plastiques) and Forum Weltoffen.
