Sinem Kaya was born in Istanbul in 1985. She graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan Fine Art University in 2007. Currently, she continues Master′s degree at her alma mater. Kaya has had several solo exhibitions including "Hayalperest" (Istanbul, 2010) and "Kafes" (Istanbul, 2012). She has also participated in several art residences programs and symposiums such as 10th Birgi Summer shool activities (Izmir, 2007), St. Henri Art Residence program (Toulouse, 2008), and Summart Campus′10 (Moldova, 2010). She has received many awards for her works. Kaya lives and works in Istanbul.
