Tansu Özmen

Tansu Özmen was born in Afyon in 1972. He graduated from the Faculty of  Maritime Organization and Management at Dokuz Eylül University. While studying at University, he began painting and continued until his military duty in 2005. He then studied watercolor painting with Burhan Özer and Orhan Fürel at their workshops. Özmen continued studying watercolor painting with Alvaro Castagnet, Fabio Cembranelli and Keiko Tanabe. Özmen has participated in several group exhibitions in Izmir. He held his first solo exhibition at Artev Art Gallery in Istanbul in 2013. He is a board member of IWS in Izmir.
