Tufan Baltalar was born in Edremit in 1972. He graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University in 1994. He has held several solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Baltalar currently lives and works in Izmir.
