Veli Sapaz

Veli Sapaz was born in Çorum, Sungurlu in 1942. He graduated from the Painting Department at the Gazi Institution of Education. He has had 41 solo exhibitions and participated in over 200 group exhibitions. He has received awards for his works. Sapaz worked as an Associate Professor at the Painting Department in the Atatürk Faculty of Education at Marmara University and retired in 1998. His works can be seen in many national and international private collections. Sapaz currently works at his workshop in Maltepe, Istanbul.
