Yiğit Yazıcı was born in Bursa in 1969. He studied painting at Özdemir Altan’s workshop and graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University in 1992. Since his graduation, Yazıcı has taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Turkey and abroad. He also works on creating new art concepts in different fields, having worked with leather and yacht sails. In 2005, he won a prize in the Marina Yacht Club in Bodrum. Currently, Yazıcı lives and works in Istanbul.
