Assistant Prof. Yıldız Doyran was born in Hopa in 1964. She graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Education at Gazi University in 1986. In 1996, she started working as a research assistant at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Abant İzzet Baysal University. In 1997, she completed her master’s degree in the same university. After completing her doctoral degree, proficiency in arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Hacettepe University in 2002, Doyran became an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education, the Education Department, and Painting Section at Abant İzzet Baysal University. In 2007 she received the title of Associate Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Gazi University. Assoc. Prof. Doyran takes her inspiration from the thought that nature is in itself a work of art. She has held many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. She has received many awards for her work. Assoc. Prof. Doyran currently continues her work in Ankara.
