Yusuf Özsarfati was born in Edirne in 1949. He graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Robert College in 1971. He continued his Master′s degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Alberta in Canada. Since 1987 he has concentrated on painting. In 1996, Özsarfati received a second award in the 1st Sol Moreno Painting Competition. Currently, he continues painting in Istanbul.
