Zeki Serbest

Zeki Serbest was born in Ladik, Samsun in 1946. He graduated from the Department of Painting-Work at Gazi Institute for Education in 1968. He taught painting in many primary schools in Akpınar and Izmir. Serbest has held more than 66 solo exhibitions and participated in over 104 group exhibitions. In 1990, he won an award of merit in the Yunus Emre Painting competition. His works can be seen in various private and public collections in Turkey and abroad. Serbest currently lives and works in Izmir. He is a member of BRHD and UPSD.
