Prof. Zeliha Akçaoğlu

Zeliha Akçaoğlu was born in Ankara in 1964. She graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Education at Gazi University in 1987. She completed her Master′s degree at the New School for Social Research, New York Parsons School of Design in 1994. In the same year, she began working as research assistant at Anadolu University. Akçaoğlu obtained her doctoral degree, proficiency in Arts at Hacettepe University. She became Associate Professor in 2003 and Professor in 2010 at Anadolu University. Prof. Akçaoğlu has received four awards and held over ten solo exhibitions. She has participated in more than 100 group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Her works can be seen in national and international public and private collections. Prof. Akçaoğlu currently continues teaching at Anadolu University.
