Zeynep Dilek Çetiner was born in Istanbul in 1968. She graduated from the Restoration Department at Yıldız Technical University in 1989. In the same year, she started working at the Naval Museum in Istanbul. In 1991, she transferred to the Istanbul Museum of Painting and Sculpture, which belongs to Mimar Sinan Fine Art University. Between 1991 and 1994, Çetiner attended painting workshops, which were held at Mimar Sinan University and the Museum of Painting and Sculpture. In 2004, she was appointed as Head of the Plastic Arts and Restoration-Conservation Department in the Istanbul Museum of Painting and Sculpture. Çetiner has had 17 solo exhibitions, and participated in numerous group exhibitions and art fairs. Her works can be seen in various public and private collections. Currently, she continues her work at the Istanbul Museum of Painting and Sculpture.
