İhsan Kendir was born in Merzifon in 1967. He graduated from the Department of Ceramic and Glass in the Faculty of Fine Art at Marmara University in 1990. He worked on ceramics at his own workshop until 1998, then started working on sculpture and painting. He has had several solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in Turkey. Currently, Kendir serves as a lecturer in the Ceramic Department at Hitit University.
