Şehriban Köksal Kunt was born in 1976. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Anadolu University in 1999. Between 2000 and 2002, she gave painting and sculpture lessons in the Izmir Museum of Painting and Sculpture. She participated in several symposiums such as: the 9th International Wood Sculpture Symposium in Hojer (Denmark) in 2001; the 9th International Wood Sculpture Symposium in Oddense (Denmark) in 2001; the 1st Festival International De Sculpture Sur Pierre Verdun (France) in 2002; and the 8th International Wood Sculpture Symposium in Brokel en Schaft in 2004. Since 1999, Köksal Kunt has had solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and Germany.
